The new rules on headlights and direction indicators

It will be mandatory to have solid yellow or white front lights and a red one at the rear which must be turned on after sunset. The direction indicators they must be amber and flash with a frequency between 1 and 2 Hertz and a pulse duration greater than 0,3 seconds. They will be installed both front and back, at a height between 150 and 1400 mm.

Power and size

La maximum power can be 0.5 kW (about 0,68 hp) and the maximum dimensions of 2.000 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1500 mm in height are also fixed. The weight cannot exceed 40 kg. The minimum wheel size must be 8 inches.


The brakes

The brakes must be independent for each axle and must guarantee to act promptly on each wheel. They can act both on the wheel and on the transmission components.
