Nintendo Switch: February sales on over a thousand games announced

New wave of sales on the Nintendo Switch eShop: over a thousand games involved, with many possible deals for thrifty players

We've just finished talking about unlikely sequels for the console, but Nintendo Switch has another ace up his sleeve: one new wave of eShop sales, involving over a thousand titles. A not insignificant number, perhaps aimed at diverting attention to the rumors in circulation. Big N fans are in equally great turmoil over the Kyoto giant's tendency to show off its schedule (read: Direct) in the month of February, and perhaps it is also for this reason that the Japanese giant preferred to make this period memorable in a slightly different way. Or maybe it's just our guesswork, who can tell?

And on Nintendo Switch, there are still a thousand balances left

Nintendo Spain today communicated with a tweet the over a thousand discounts coming with the Switch eShop balances, although the generous initiative is still exclusive to the Old Continent. As always happens when it comes to mass discounts, however, also in this case the hardware manufacturer preferred to play cards as much as ever covered: in other words, it is to be expected that the drop in price will show itself on the marketplace (this Thursday 10 February 15:00). All we know about it is the four-digit number of games involved. We leave you to the triumphal announcement of the Big N on Twitter in our local language.

At 15pm this Thursday the # eShop February Festival kicks off, with discounts on over 00 games!

We can only tell you in broad terms what we can expect. We know that there will be so many discounted games, but if you expect to take home some titles published by Nintendo itself at rags prices you might be disappointed. The percentage of the price cut applied to first party games it never goes beyond the 33%, which brings the titles from 60 euros to the more permissive threshold of 40. You may have better luck with the titles published by the Big N but developed by others, such as Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of a lost era. Of course, this is not the case with third-party stocks, which are often subject to far more dizzying percentages such as 75 or 80%. For lower-profile games, however, inquire first.
